Global Open Limitless Distributors and Sellers Inc. (GOLD Sellers) wants to analyze their sales results from December 2019 and wants the data to be categorized by product groups to answer specific questions. The problem is, their ERP system reports do not have product categories defined. Instead, each product has many different parameters that need to be evaluated to categorize each item. Additionally, some of the sales were made in US dollars and the report shows prices in both US dollars and the local currency of Prescia, PGD.
Your role is to create a detailed sales analysis for Global Open Limitless Distributors and Sellers Inc. (GOLD Sellers) based on their sales data export from their ERP system.
This is an actual case from the Financial Modeling World Cup 2020, Stage 3 (Nov 20-23) competition. The downloadable file consists of the following:
