Peter Scharl
Peter Scharl is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has been in the actuarial profession for thirteen years, the last ten of which have been with Oliver Wyman. He has provided services to health insurers, health care providers, state regulatory agencies, and managed care organizations.
Peter has extensive experience with large healthcare datasets and has created Excel models for benefit pricing, large group underwriting, experience metric analysis, rate review support, process simplification, and fantasy football.
Peter has also created several cases used in the Road to Las Vegas battles and Microsoft Excel World Championships.
An important aspect of Excel is being able to efficiently combine and reference various aspects of your file with one another. Typically this is done by utilizing the lookup functions in Excel and this Masterclass will cover the use and applicability of the more popular lookup functions: V/H/X Lookups, Index & Match/XMatch.
